The challenge
What was holding the store back
Four goals: focus on conversion rate optimization to drive more sales, create a stunning landing page, build mobile-responsive pages, and use visuals to accent the products. Early on, the site was slow: images were unoptimized and Largest Contentful Paint was taking a hit, which is exactly the kind of thing that costs a new store its first customers.

The work, step by step
- Step 01
Speed first: image optimization and LCP fixes
Reconfiguring image settings and fixing LCP brought the SpeedBoostr Shopify Analyzer score from 79 (a C) to 99 (an A). Faster load time protects against bounce and keeps users on the store.
- Step 02
A landing page collage
The landing page displays several products in a collage with complementary colors chosen for the products on show. The design checked every requested box and was accepted as proposed.

Mobile-first layout
The experience that matters most is the one on a phone. The store was designed mobile first and then expanded to tablet and desktop.

Visual product accents
Simple background contrast behind product imagery gives the catalog a natural, appealing look without heavy design work.
