Services

Everything your store needs to catch up.

Five services, one goal: a Shopify store that converts better, loads faster and keeps improving after launch. Pick one, or start with the audit and let the numbers decide.

Service 01

Shopify builds and redesigns

A store that looks like the brand you've become, not the one you started with.

For: Store owners launching, replatforming, or stuck with a store that no longer looks like the business.

Your store is the first impression for every ad click, every search result and every word-of-mouth referral. When it looks like it was set up in an afternoon three years ago, shoppers notice, even if they cannot say why.

I design and build storefronts around how your customers actually shop: what they need to see first, where they hesitate, and what gets them to the cart. You get a store that matches the brand you have become, built on a theme your team can run without me.

What you get

  • Discovery and a written plan before any build starts
  • Homepage, collection, product, cart and content templates
  • Brand color system, type and photography direction applied to the theme
  • Migration of products, customers, orders and redirects when you are moving platforms
  • Shopify Plus setup, checkout extensibility and B2B when you need it
  • Launch QA on real devices and a handover walkthrough

How it works: Fixed scope, fixed quote. You see progress weekly, not at the end.

Service 02

Theme development

Figma to Liquid, pixel for pixel, with sections your team can edit.

For: Brands with a design (or a designer) who need it built properly in Shopify.

A good design loses most of its value if the build is rigid. If your marketing team has to call a developer to change a headline, the theme is working against you.

I turn Figma files into clean Liquid and JSON sections with real theme-editor controls: text, images, spacing, icons, colors and layout options exposed where they should be. Pixel-accurate on launch day, and still editable a year later.

What you get

  • Figma to Shopify Online Store 2.0 implementation
  • Custom sections and blocks with editor schema for every setting
  • Metafield-driven product and collection templates
  • Mega menus, filters, sliders and feature grids built without heavy apps
  • Theme upgrades, cleanups and fixes on existing themes
  • Documentation your team can follow

How it works: Priced per section set or per theme. Fixed quote once the design is final.

AvalonH2O's team edits every homepage and product section from the theme editor. XOLogic's theme now runs seven distributor storefronts.

Service 03

CRO and AOV optimization

More orders from the traffic you already pay for, and bigger carts when they buy.

For: Stores with traffic that is not turning into enough orders, or orders that are too small.

You already pay for every visitor, through ads, content or years of building a brand. Conversion work is about getting more from that traffic before you spend another dollar acquiring it.

I start with your own numbers in Shopify analytics, then walk the store the way a first-time shopper does. The fixes are usually concrete: clearer product pages, fewer dead ends in the cart, offers that make the bigger order the obvious choice, and subscription or bundle nudges built right into the theme.

What you get

  • Analytics review and a ranked list of leaks, biggest first
  • Product page, cart and checkout teardown with specific changes
  • Cross-sells, bundles and quantity breaks built in Liquid, not another app
  • Subscription nudges and 'why subscribe' pages that remove the confusion
  • Offer, copy and layout tests with before-and-after reporting
  • Clean event tracking so you can trust the numbers

How it works: One-off teardown and fix sprint, or ongoing inside a retainer.

Proof

BuzRub's conversion rate rose 70% to 3.63% after the redesign. Orders more than doubled while traffic grew 45%, which is the gap conversion work is supposed to open.

Service 04

Speed and Lighthouse performance

Every second of load time is a shopper deciding whether to stay.

For: Stores that feel slow on a phone, score badly in Lighthouse, or have collected apps for years.

Speed is not a vanity score. It is a shopper on a phone, on a weak connection, deciding whether your product is worth another second. Most slow Shopify stores got that way slowly: an app here, an oversized image there, a script nobody remembers installing.

I fix the causes, not just the number. That means removing dead apps and their leftover code, resizing and lazy-loading images properly, deferring what does not need to block the page, and cleaning up theme code that does too much work on every load.

What you get

  • Core Web Vitals and Lighthouse audit on real pages, mobile first
  • App inventory: what each one costs you in speed and money
  • Image, font and video optimization
  • Third-party script cleanup and deferral
  • Theme code performance fixes
  • Before-and-after report with the same test conditions

How it works: Fixed-scope audit and fix sprint. Monitoring available on a retainer.

Service 05

Ongoing growth retainers

A developer and growth partner on call, so you stop falling behind between projects.

For: Owners who want steady improvement instead of a big expensive redesign every three years.

Falling behind is rarely one big failure. It is the small things that never get done: the landing page for the next launch, the product page fix you noticed in March, the app that should have been removed last year.

A retainer gives you a set block of my hours every month with a roadmap tied to your numbers. Fixes get fixed, tests get run, features ship, and you always know what is coming next and why.

What you get

  • Monthly roadmap built from your analytics and your calendar
  • Priority response for bugs and small fixes
  • New features, sections and landing pages as needed
  • Ongoing CRO tests and speed monitoring
  • Plain-English monthly report on what moved the numbers
  • Direct access to me, not a ticket queue

How it works: Monthly, with a block of hours that rolls into the roadmap. Pause or stop any time.

Forloh's team describes our work as ongoing across projects, and s9digital said they will use me for all their Shopify projects going forward. A retainer makes that the default.

How we work

No surprises. Ever.

Every project runs the same way, whether it is a two-week fix sprint or a Shopify Plus build.

Fixed quote first

You know the price and the scope before anything starts. Changes are agreed in writing, not discovered on the invoice.

Weekly progress

You see work as it happens on a staging theme, not a big reveal at the end.

You own everything

Theme, code, data and accounts stay in your Shopify store under your name.

Direct access

You work with me, Nick. No account managers, no hand-offs to someone you have never met.

Built to be edited

Every section has real theme-editor controls, so your team runs the store day to day.

Measured, not guessed

Before-and-after numbers from your own Shopify analytics, with the same test conditions.

Questions

Before you book.

Still unsure? Ask me on a call. It is free and there is no pitch.

Both. Most of my work is on top of a well-chosen theme, customized properly. A fully custom theme makes sense when your catalog or business model does not fit a standard template, like XOLogic's five million products.

Builds, redesigns, theme work and audits are fixed scope with a fixed quote agreed before work starts. Retainers are a monthly block of hours. There is no hourly billing surprise at the end.

No. Everything I build is exposed in the theme editor with sensible controls, and I walk your team through it. You call me for the next project, not to change a headline.

Yes. Products, customers, order history and URL redirects come with you, so you keep your search rankings. XOLogic's migration involved 5M+ products with automated inventory syncing.

Yes. 96 Shades was built on Shopify Plus from a blank canvas, including post-checkout upsells, VIP memberships and a referral program.

Start with the free store audit. You get a ranked list of what is holding your store back, and we talk through which fixes matter most.

Pick a place to start

Not sure which one you need? Start with the audit.

I will go through your store and send a ranked list of what is holding it back, in plain English. Then we decide together.

Usually replies within one business day. No pressure, no retainers required to start.
